Dispute Resolution Services in the CDBA Region
Dispute resolution is a broad term often used to encompass mediation, mediation/arbitration, arbitration, facilitation and other types of services designed to resolve disputes between individuals, between individuals and organizations, or within organizations. Clients may choose to use these services instead of seeking resolution through the courts or other formalized processes. Also, dispute resolution processes may be required or voluntary steps in any legal action.
Deanna Tuley and Elizabeth Pierce-Durance have prepared a Resource Guide for Dispute Resolution Services for the Continental Divide Bar Association. The Guide is intended to be a useful resource for professionals, organizations, and individuals interested in using the services of dispute resolution experts. Users of the Guide should contact listed individuals to determine their availability and suitability to provide services for a particular dispute. Users may also want to inquire about the provider’s credentialing and licensing in his or her relevant discipline, if applicable.
